Cat5e cat6 data cabling

Your data cabling could serve you for ten to twenty years, longer than any other part of your network, yet it probably accounts for a relatively small proportion of your IT budget. Over this period the demands on your IT infrastructure will increase, so you need to provide for growth and flexibility.

Once your data cabling system is installed, changes can be disruptive and expensive so it’s essential to get it designed and installed correctly first time. With over twenty one years in the cabling business, Camnet can do this for you. we are accredited with HellermannTyton, Connectix, Hubbell, Mini 5, Nexans and Panduit cabling system. These can be Cat5e for Gigabit Ethernet, Cat6a for 10 Gigabit or fibre optic for backbones. We also provide pre-terminated cabling for rapid installation.

Fibre optic cabling

Camnet also design, supply, install, terminate and test all fibre optic solutions, including both multi-mode and single-mode optical fibre, using fusion splicer’s to splice the fibres together, this gives for a higher quality termination and better test results and pass rate. All our installs are tested using light source, power meters. Test results are provided to our clients.

If you have an existing fibre optic network that has issues or has just stopped working then we can test the network with a OTDR to establish where the damage is and whether we can fix the broken cable.

As well as the installation of new data cabling, we provide a range of services for existing systems, from adding an additional data point to planning and managing a complete office move of equipment.

CSCS accredited

All of our engineers are CSCS trained. CSCS is demanded as proof of competence in Health and Safety regulations by organisations from across the construction industry as well as employers, clients and the Government.
